• To operate the Platform and match shipment requirements with relevant Freight Forwarders;
• To facilitate connection and communication between users;
• To process subscription payments, invoices, and verification;
• To send transactional, service, and (with opt-out) promotional communications;
• To protect the Platform, prevent fraud/misuse, and comply with applicable law.

3. Data Sharing & Masking

We do not sell your personal data. A Freight Forwarder’s identity is masked from EXIM users until both parties mutually agree to exchange contact details through the Platform. We may share information with service providers (e.g. payment gateways) and where required by law or to protect our rights.

4. Documents & Verification

Documents you submit for verification are stored securely and used solely to assess and grant verification status. The decision to grant or withhold a “Verified” badge rests entirely with BookMyVessel at its sole discretion.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit; passwords are hashed; payments are processed through PCI-DSS compliant gateways. However, no method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and BookMyVessel is not liable for any unauthorised access beyond its reasonable control.

6. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data by contacting us. Certain records may be retained where required for legal, accounting, or legitimate business purposes.
